Here is a poem i like.
Abyss Eyes
By: Cesar Ruiz
Gems that are emerald green.
Make's the soul sheen!
Pierces the coldest heart.
With two razor-sharp darts.
The Devil will not chance a stare.
Too afraid of it's force too dare.
Magical orbs that might stun.
A Vacuum unavoidable; can't run.
A heaven's gift given too Earth?
Mother Nature's genetic miracle birth?
Whatever the reason that may be....
It's a treasure that fill's void with glee!

Taking Back America from the Architects
"The pen is mightier than the sword" is a metonymic adage coined by Edward Bulwer-Lytton in 1839 for his play Richelieu; Or the Conspiracy. The play was about Cardinal Richelieu, though in the author's words "license with dates and details... has been, though not unsparingly, indulged." The Cardinal's line in Act II, scene II, was more fully**:
True, This! —
Beneath the rule of men entirely great,
The pen is mightier than the sword. Behold
The arch-enchanters wand! — itself a nothing! —
But taking sorcery from the master-hand
To paralyze the Cæsars, and to strike
The loud earth breathless! — Take away the sword —
States can be saved without it!

A line has been drawn in the sand. Now, it is we, the Scanty, against them, the mighty politicians on both sides of the aisle, here local, and there afar.
We find ourselves, again, as we were in the period 1763-1776, taxed, and oppressed, without adequate representation. This time the stakes are far higher and they have made us vacant of sword and shield to fight them off.
We have sent these mighty bureaucrats to be our protectors and blade bearers only to find that they have forsaken us with a wink and nod to be at the side of elite flag bearers who line their pockets with gold and silks. The special interest groups, their Wall Street contemporaries, and their friends from academic circles, and such more, and so on. In the pages forward, this author will call this gluttonous clan The Architects.
Do not be dismayed, we have something mightier than the sword wrapped in golden scabbard, though it has less of a cutting edge, its rim rivals the sharpest blade, and it chops with the swiftness of the butcher’s stiletto.
We will take up arms with our pens and modern day paraphernalia, arming ourselves with computer, blackberry, and Ipod, held steadfast at our fingertips. These new swords are the utensils that we shall use to mix our recipe, which will rival the gastronomic produce ripened by the finest chefs of skirmish.
With nearly one-third of American’s in the pit of destitution and another third wobbling on disaster’s brink, we have but one last hope to take back America from our counterfeit protectors, The Architects and their cousins.
Quick now, arm yourselves. The battle will be brief, however pungent. Be prepared to scorch the prints of your fingertips in the heat of skirmish, and take well these notes that follow to heart.
Remember this, first and always, that the power is with the Scanty not with The Architects; or the Robbers of Wall Street, nor with the lower politicians who pretend to represent us and we the Scanty shall endure and prevail.
In the period 1999 – 2001, the greediest of the greedy sought to swell their golden coffers with bulging riches. They conspired with those who were supposed to be our protectors, our duly elected officials of the hierarchy, and they together betrayed us, the Scanty. The Architects enticed us with fallacious promises of prosperity, while they robbed us of the only things tangible to humble persons, which are food, shelter, and dignity. The Robbers of Wall Street and the politician’s instrument of prosperity was the promise of shelter for everyone, no matter how shabby the worth of the Scanty.
The Architects of this false prosperity lay the Scanty to waste, as soon it would be revealed that the price of shelter was more than the Scanty could bear. However, The Architects prospered while they embalmed the Scanty’s shelter into modern day instruments of credit to be known as Hedge Funds and Mortgage Backed Securities. The instruments were offered for a price on the open marketplace called Wall Street to another gluttonous group of the wealthy elite, and first cousins of The Architects known as Institutional Investors.
It is said that certain dominate adult male animal species eat their male young to prevent their young males from becoming the dominate group in the pack. Soon, the Institutional Investors would realize that too, their first cousins, The Architects, would maintain their status as the dominate group in the inner circles of wealth and avarice, and low and behold, The Architects began to devour the Institutional Investors. The Architects carnage was wicked and widespread. Soon The Architects financial bloodbath would encircle and entrench the third cousins of The Architects, and the Institutional Investors, which are also known as the keeper of the keys to the entrances of monetary vaults both large and small that presented themselves on every street corner of America,. These are called the Keepers of the Coin…….more
